FAQ

Questions, answered

Still wondering about PayFast? The documentation covers every setting, and we are happy to help.

Do I set a notify URL in PayFast?

No. The notification address is sent with each payment, and notifications arrive at your site’s /hf-payfast-itn.

Why must the passphrase match?

It signs the request and PayFast’s notifications. If it differs from your PayFast account, signature checks fail.
