What you get

What you can do with Google Calendar

An event per entry

Each submission adds an event to the primary calendar of the connected Google account.

Start and end dates

Map Start Date and End Date to the fields that say when the event begins and ends.

Title and description

Pick the fields whose answers become the event title and its description.

Time zone per entry

Date Timezone reads the event’s time zone from a form field, such as a hidden field.

Authorize once

Add a Client ID and Client Secret, click Authorize, and events are created with that account.

Token refreshed

If Google reports an expired access token, it is renewed and the event request is tried again.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Still wondering about Google Calendar? The documentation covers every setting, and we are happy to help.

Which calendar do events go to?

The primary calendar of the Google account you authorized.

Can the time zone change from entry to entry?

Yes. Date Timezone is read from a field in the form, so each submission can carry its own.

What do I need from Google?

A Client ID and Client Secret from Google Cloud Console, where you also add the Redirect URI shown in the cog.
