Buyers authorise a bank payment on a GoCardless page, then return to your site. Hash Form asks GoCardless about the billing request and checks its amount before the entry counts as paid.

    A billing request is opened for the form’s total and currency.
  • Authorised on GoCardless
    The buyer follows GoCardless’s authorisation link to approve it.

    The request must be under way or fulfilled, for the amount on record.

How it works

Set up GoCardless in three steps

Switch on GoCardless

Turn on the GoCardless module under Hash Form > Modules and click Save.

Add an access token

In the cog settings, choose Test or Live and paste the access token.

Add the field

Choose one of GoCardless’s currencies in Payment Settings and add a Payment field.

Is the money in my account when the entry is paid?

Not necessarily. The entry is marked paid once the buyer has authorised it and the payment is under way, and bank debit takes days to clear.

Which currencies work with GoCardless?

GBP, EUR, SEK, DKK, AUD, NZD, CAD and USD. On a form in another currency it isn’t offered.
