Each submission creates a Mercado Pago checkout preference and sends the buyer to pay. Test opens the sandbox checkout, and on return the approved payment is checked against the order.

  • Checkout preference
    A preference is created with the form’s total and currency.
  • Sandbox checkout
    In Test, the buyer is sent to Mercado Pago’s sandbox checkout.
  • Approved and matched
    Only an approved payment for this entry and amount counts.

How it works

Set up Mercado Pago in three steps

Switch on Mercado Pago

Turn on the Mercado Pago module under Hash Form > Modules and click Save.

Add an access token

In the cog settings, choose Test or Live and paste the access token.

Add the field

Choose the currency and amount in Payment Settings and add a Payment field.

Can I test with Mercado Pago?

Yes. Choose Test and add your Test Access Token, and buyers are sent to the sandbox checkout.

What if a payment isn’t approved?

The entry isn’t marked paid, and the buyer lands on the payment failed page.
