Draft preview

The draft shows in Form Preview with its field count before anything is saved.

Ask for more fields or changes, and ChatGPT is asked to return the full updated form.

Form requests use ChatGPT’s JSON response mode, and the draft is built from that reply.

Formula assistant

Click AI beside Calculation Formula to get a formula from ChatGPT, then Insert it.

Clear errors

If a request fails, the error OpenAI returns is shown in the conversation.
How it works

Set up ChatGPT in three steps

Turn on ChatGPT

Go to Hash Form > Modules, switch on ChatGPT and click Save.

Save your key

On Hash Form > AI Form, choose ChatGPT, paste your API key and click Save Key.

Describe and save

Describe the form, type a name in Name this form, then click Save Form.

Which model does it use?

gpt-4o-mini by default. A developer can change it with the hashform_ai_model filter.

Is the conversation kept?

No. The Conversation panel notes it’s not kept when you leave the page, so save any draft you want to keep.

What if the form is too long?

You’re told the form was too long to finish and asked to request fewer fields, then add the rest afterwards.
